Now that I've installed the LDAP Directory Service, how do I use it?

How to Use the LDAP Directory Service : Netscape Communicator 4.5

Open the Netscape Address Book.

(a) Select UAB Electronic Phonebook from the list of available directories.

(b) Click the Search For button.

Fill in your search criteria.  We are looking for a Jill G

Click the Search button.
Your results will be displayed.  Notice that Netscape finds Jill's whose last names start with G, Jill's whose middle initial is G, and also any Jill with the letter g anywhere within their surname.
To learn more about each name listed, double click on the name.
A new window opens showing you more information
When you have verified that this is the right person, put your mouse over the name and push the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON.  A menu appears and you can either send a New Message or add the person to your address book (New List)
